Mx16

- Core
- Weight block inside the ball
- I-Core (Dual Density)
- Core Type
- Basic shape type of the core (Symmetric, Asymmetrical, Pancake)
- Asymmetrical
- RG
- Radius of Gyration: measurement related to weight distribution of the core. This affects how quickly a ball will get in to a roll. A ball with a higher RG will roll later. A ball with lower RG will roll sooner.
- 16 LB. - 2.50
- 15 LB. - 2.49
- 14 LB. - 2.52
- 13 LB. - 2.53
- 12 LB. - 2.60
- Differential
- Difference between the RG of the core's x-axis and y-axis. Indicates track flare potential and stability. A higher differential means more flare potential and less stabilty. A low differential ball will be more stable and have less flare potential.
- 16 LB. - .047
- 15 LB. - .053
- 14 LB. - .052
- 13 LB. - .055
- 12 LB. - .039
- Intermediate Differential
- Difference between the RG of the core's x-axis and Z-axis on an asymmetrical core. Indicates the asymmetry of the core. A higher intermediate differential ball will be less stable and will transition more quickly from skid to roll than a ball with lower intermediate differential.

Mx16 Product Notes
- MANUFACTURER'S INTENT
Bowlers with medium rev rates require balls that provide moderate overall strength. The Mx16 is the perfect combination of a strong core with a medium strength coverstock that provides the medium rev player a ball strong enough for some oil, but will help them through the transition.
- CORE
The i-Core is one of the most unique core designs Track has ever produced. This also marks the return of multi-density cores back to the Track brand. With this one core design, we can produce anything from a perfectly symmetrical ball to one with a high intermediate differential. Basically, we have the ability to go from a core that has a smooth response to friction to one that creates a very aggressive response. The densities have not changed since the previous release with this core and it provides strong numbers to give the medium rev player the most area possible.
- COVER
The Mx16 features our new MR-8 Hybrid cover which is stronger than the previous Mx ball, thus providing more overall hook and making this the optimum choice for medium rev players on longer or heavier patterns.
- FINISH
The Mx16 uses a 500/3000 Abralon® factory finish. This finish will provide moderate traction in the mid-lane and maximizes the strength of the Mx16 at the breakpoint on medium to heavy oil patterns.
- OVERALL
The largest majority of bowlers fall into the medium rev category and will find the strength of the Mx16 perfect for fresh house shots or medium to heavier oil patterns. This ball motion will provide them with a wider foot print on the lane than the previous Mx ball due to the more aggressive core, cover and finish.
